Changsha Zoo to import 280 new animals soon

The Changsha Zoo in the Hunan provincial capital plans to import 280 animals of 18 varieties before it moves to a new location in some months to come.
The first group of new animals, which include six giraffes, 10 yaks and a few camels, will arrive in the central metropolis before the end of the month.
The animals will be first kept in isolation for a period of 45 days before they are displayed to visitors.The zoo also plans to import pandas, south China tigers, white tigers, kangaroos and blue sheep.
