Governor Zhou Qiang Met with President of Bank of China

On the morning of November 26, the Bank of China and Hunan Airports Management Group Co. Ltd. signed in Changsha a cooperation framework agreement involving 13 billion yuan in total, in a bid to accelerate the construction and development of Hunan¨s airports. Zhou Qiang, governor of Hunan Province and vice secretary of theHunan Provincial CPC Committee met with Li Lihui, president of Bank of China.
According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out a multi-level and all-round cooperation covering the businesses of loaning, depositing, settlement, etc.
Zhou Qiang, on behalf of Hunan Provincial Government and the Hunan Provincial CPC Committee, extended gratitude to the Bank of China for its long-term support to Hunan¨s economic and social development. He hoped that taking the agreement as an impetus, Hunan will make full use of the advantages provided by Bank of China in capital, talents, brand, and so on, to deepen the cooperation of both sides in the fields of credit investment, SMEs financing, etc. and to speed up the development of Hunan province. He pointed out that giving play to the roles of the bank to the utmost is of great help for Hunan¨s qualified enterprises to actively "going global" and developing overseas business. He vowed that Hunan Province would also try every means to create favorable conditions to support Bank of China to further expand business in this province and achieve a win-win situation.
