2014 Promoting Conference of Capital Market Financing for Hunan SMEs Held in Changsha

According to the 2014 Promoting Conference of Capital Market Financing for Hunan SMEs held in Changsha, the number of Hunan-based key back-up companies to be listed reached 277.

After the establishment of this “list of key back-up companies of Hunan”, the number of companies included in the list has increased from 65 to 277, enriching back-up resources. However, compared with developed provinces, Hunan is still lagging behind. The province will continue to make full use of the capital markets, and encourage and foster SMEs to finance.

Hunan Vice Governor Zhang Jianfei pointed out at the conference that SME private debt enjoys numerous advantages such as controllable financing cycle, flexible capital utilization, low issue requirements. It allows no demand of approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission as long as it is filed to stock exchanges. He added that Hunan lacks noted enterprises, which leaves great space for SMEs to develop.
