Overseas Experts to Deliver Informative Lectures in Hunan

The Overseas Excellent Expert Lecture Room was initiated in Changsha on the afternoon of April 11. It is expected that 18 lectures by overseas excellent experts will be held in 2014.

Hosted by the Hunan Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and the Hunan Economic and Information Technology Commission, the lecture room is aiming at effectively delivering high-level and latest information and theories across the world by inviting overseas experts to give lectures in Hunan.

During the first lecture, Andy Ge, deputy executive director of the United States-China Exchange Council (USCEC), visiting professor of International School of San Jose State University in California, invited professor of Training Chinese Professors Program of Stanford University and author of "Mystery of American Dream", gave a lesson on "New Trend of American Macro Economy and Industry". Tu Zipei (Jack), a well-known expert in information management, vice president of Chinese Association for Science and Technology, USA (CAST-USA) and author of "Big Data Revolution" which is regarded as one of the best 10 books in China in 2012 by Asiaweek, was also invited to give a lecture titled "Big Data and New Industrial Revolution".
