Hong Kong Photographers Capture Jiahe, Hunan

From August 20 to 21, over 10 photographers including Mr. IP Ngai-leung, president of the Chinese Photographic Association of Hong Kong Ltd., and Mr. IP Ngai-leung, president of the Zhong Yuan Photographic Association Limited, with their cameras, came to Jiahe County of Hunan Province for photographing. They captured a great deal of historical and cultural symbols and traditional folk customs.
 
One of the photographers said this visit changed his previous impression on Jiahe, saying "I not only captured a lot of precious pictures, but also experienced Jiahe's distinctive local customs and practices. Its delicacies are so nice, which cannot be found in Hong Kong."
 
This July, Jiahe County hosted an international photographic contest themed "Seeking the Parting Lotus Town". The event aimed to record Jiahe's elegant natural scenery, profound historic cultural deposits and achievements in social and economic development. At present, more than 380 photographic lovers in 26 batches from all over the country have been attracted here for taking pictures.
