Governor Du Attends the 7th Xiaoxiang Friendship Award Ceremony

The awarding ceremony of the 7th Hunan "Xiaoxiang Friendship Award" & the National Day banquet for foreign experts was held in Changsha on the afternoon of September 28.
 
Governor of Hunan Province Du Jiahao met with the awarded experts, Executive Vice Governor Chen Zhaoxiong also attended the ceremony and presented the "Xiaoxiang Friendship Award" to the winners.
 
On behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government, Governor Du congratulated the winning experts, and extended sincere gratitude to them for their support and contributions to Hunan’s economic and social development. The open Hunan welcomes experts from all over the world to the province for teaching, start-up and development. He promised that Hunan will provide sound environment and conditions for their working, living and studying, and strive to create a good atmosphere which motivates people to show respect for agricultural knowledge and talents. He expected the large group of foreign experts in Hunan to popularize and promote the province, and mobilize more experts and talents to participate in its economic and social development.
