International Children gether in Changsha WES Academy

　　 Primary school students of CWA (Changsha WES Academy) are happily seated in the class within the easygoing atmosphere in various gestures, May 19, Changsha City, Hunan Province.

　　 In the secondary school of this school, students are using computers in classroom in the casual style.

　　 Rednet ( Changsha, May 22) Anyone would wonder why there are only 52 students in a school, coming from 16 countries and regions, without Chinese students in Changsha city. Changsha WES Academy is the one.

　　 Children of different colour and accents were playing football in the playground of Changsha WES Academy on May 19, located in Xingsha, an eastern suburb of Changsha City, Hunan Province.

　　 The international school was founded in year 2009 for the children of foreign experts’ in Changsha, by the approval of National Ministry of Education. The school had only four students when it was founded, and now it has 52 students from Korea, Japan, Germany, France, United States ,United Kingdom, Australia,New Zealand, Belgium, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia ,Netherlands and Canada, as well as Hong Kong and China Taiwan. With teachers from U.S.,Australia and other countries, all members make up an international family in Changsha. 16 students are from Korea.

　　 Changsha WES Academy teaches use English as the primary language of instruction! with The International Baccalaureate (known as the IB) for students aged 3 to 19 which help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Each programme includes a curriculum and pedagogy, student assessment appropriate to the age range, professional development for teachers and a process of school authorization and evaluation. There are more than 1,229,000 IB students at 3,917schools in 147 countries.
