China (Hunan) Red Tourism Culture Festival Opens

On the morning of July 28, 2015 China (Hunan) Red Tourism Culture Festival & China (Guidong) Summer Health and Leisure Festival was grandly unveiled in Shatian Town, Guidong in the east of Hunan Province. Xu Yousheng, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, declared the opening of the event, Vice governor of Hunan Province He Baoxiang presented at the opening ceremony.
 
At the opening ceremony, Guidong was conferred with the nameplate of “Pilot County for General Tourism Development in Hunan”. Guidong No. 1 Military Discipline Square was authorized as “China National Defense Education Demonstration Base”, and the memorial hall built at the site where the PLA issued the “Three Disciplines and Six Regulations” was designated as Red Tourism Book House.
 
The ceremony started with stirring drum dance “Charm of Xiaoxiang”, followed by the large-scale historical play “Soul of Military Discipline” with songs and dances and revolutionary folk song “Shine of Mass Line” in rap, pushing the gala to its climax. The whole gala consists of three parts including “Red Banners Fluttering Freely”, “Greening Chenzhou” and “Dating with East Hunan”, presenting a big feast of red culture for over 1,000 audiences.
