Top 6 express their excitement of entering finale

　　Five contestants of the top 6 (from the third person left to right) are Shen Suyun (South Korea) of Asia, Kang Ke (UK) of Europe, Ma Xiu (Columbia) of South America, Mai Kaiping (New Zealand) of Oceania and Sun Fuyu (Cameroon) of Africa.

　　Rednet (Changsha): The top 6 was revealed for the finale of the 14th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students July 28th, in Changsha, and the list of top five was first released: Ma Xiu, Shen Suyun, Kangke, Mai Kaiping and Sun Fuyu. The last vacancy was filled by Xu Tianyou who won the revival contest for five low scored contestants.

　　Rednet had exclusive interviews with the top six contestants.

　　Shen Suyun said ," I will go on to realize their dreams." 　　 　　

　　Shen Suyun (South Korea) said that when she found herself being the first place of Asia team, she had complex feeling that was feeling bad of departing with some friends and feeling good of being proud of herself.

　　Shen was directly qualified as top 6, and she said that she will strive to the finale for the beloved friends.

　　Ma Xiu said, "my feeling is as the same as the colors of my country’s national flag."

　　Ma Xiu (Columbia) entered the Top 6 with his calm and witty reactions of facing the camera. Off the stage, he said that there was a little nervous in the contests and he wish to do better later.

　　"I didn’t think of my entering the top 6 and being the first place of the America Team. I’m very excited.whatever the outcome is, I am still happy to be with others. ”

　　Ma Xiu said that every contestant was excellent and very special, and he was proud of being here representing Columbia. Ma said," My feeling is now the same colors as my country’s national flag in red (passion), yellow (fruitful) and blue (calm). I am introducing to the world a new Colombia, on the stage of "Chinese Bridge"."

　　Maikaiping said,"this is my biggest chance. "　　

　　Mai Kaiping (New Zealand) alway impressed audience with his good looking and his smile.

　　Mai cherished the opportunity to learn regional culture, and he recorded them silently.

　　Mai said , “I think this is the biggest opportunity of my life, and it is an honor for New Zealand. I think my father, mother and sister must be very happy to hear that. ”

　　Sun Fuyu said," I am proud of myself on behalf of Cameroon."

　　 Sun Fuyu (Cameroon) had learned Chinese for ten months at the Confucius School of Cameroon; in some people’s eyes, he became "a master of Chinese language"  . He has been the number one of all the contestants who had came from Cameroon for  “Chinese Bridge". 　　

　　Sun said, "On behalf of my country, Cameroon, I am very happy for my entering the top 6. Cameroon had never entered top 10 before. Not just on behalf of Cameroon, I also represent Africa. Though I am under big pressure, I have the confidence to do better in the next contest. ”

　　Xu Tianyou said,” like Forrest Gump, I carry my team members with me." 　　
　　Being the oldest contestant and a group leader, Xu Tianyou (Italy) took care of his team like a big brother to his younger siblings in the contests.

　　As for Xu, many outstanding contestants will continue the games with their hard work. He think what made him enter the top 6 was his persistent and his hard work." 　　
　　Kang Ke said,"these days of "Chinese bridge" are unforgettable."

　　Kang Ke (UK) of Europe said that he was very happy and very excited to be in the finals after more than 20 days of ups and downs in the contests, and now he was ready to fight for the Championship. "No matter what, days of the "Chinese bridge" will be the most memorable time of my life.”
