Hunan Plans to Invest 4.39 Trillion Yuan into 30 Major Projects

Hunan this year plans to invest in 1157 major items of 30 major projects with a total investment of 4.39142 trillion yuan. The annual planned investment is to reach 982.86 billion yuan, and the whole year’s social investment will amount to three trillion yuan, according to the working conference on Hunan’s investment and major construction held on April 11, 2016. In specific:

A total of 1.72413 trillion yuan will be invested to 581 items of 8 projects in industry development, including projects of new industry incubation and high-end equipment manufacturing. The annual investment is planned to reach 268.3 billion yuan.

1.6061 trillion yuan is planned to be put into 333 items of 11 infrastructure projects including transportation network upgrading. 427.63 billion yuan is planned to be injected this year.

515.84 billion yuan will be used in 166 items of such 8 ecological protection projects as urban sewage treatment facilities and sewage pipe network construction. This year will witness a planned investment of 112.67 billion yuan.

542.65 billion yuan will be injected to 77 items of three major projects on people’s livelihood, covering social security system, featured new rural villages, and poverty alleviation by relocation. 174.25 billion yuan will be allocated in 2016 as planned.
