North Xianing Port Area Phase III to Be Completed by June

　　Photos taken on May 23 show construction workers are erecting a crane at Berth No. 11 of Xianing Port Area of Changsha Harbor (Phase III). There are six berths in total in Phase III of the project. Now Berth No. 9 and No. 11 located in the north of Xianing Port Area have been completed, and the construction of Berth No. 10 is in full swing, and it is expected to be finished in June.

　　Upon completion, Xianing Port Area will add the annual throughput of Changsha Port to 10 million tons, making itself a modern port for shipping export and import containers, large break-bulk cargos, and bulk cargos, connecting water transportation directly with railway transportation. Meanwhile, Xianing Port Area will facilitate the development of a three-dimensional transportation network which is based in Changsha and supports China’s railway, highway and waterway transportation.
