Hunan Delegation to Participate in 2016 BIBF

The 23 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) will take place at International Exhibition Center from Aug. 24 to 30, 2016. Organized by Hunan Provincial Administration of Press, ation, Radio, Film and Television, Hunan delegation will display nearly 2,000 books that are carefully chosen at 2016 BIBF. Meanwhile, a special zone for high-quality books published in Hunan will be set up to show such books that have been sold across the world in recent two years. 

Yin Feizhou, inspector of Hunan Provincial Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, said “we have brought a number of good books that are favored by foreign publishers, Cai Gao’s picture book published by Hunan Children’s Publishing House, traditional culture textbooks by Yuelu Press and books on Huxiang culture by Hunan Press.” 

To further increase Hunan’s export and import of copyrights of books, Hunan is planned to reach 80 intentions of copyright exports and 100 projects and intentions of copyright imports. 

At the fair, China South Publishing & Media Group’s exhibitors will host five large activities, including signing ceremony of Gardner’s Art Through the Ages, Beijing International Publishing Forum, Translation Grant Presentation, of Qin Wenjun’s new book “Prince’s Adventures”, signing ceremony of a strategic cooperative agreement between Hunan and the USA to promote Cai Gao’s picture books.
