High-speed Railways to Boost Tourism Cooperation Between Yunnan and Hunan

A promotion conference on Yunan stone forest tourism development was held in Changsha on Sept. 27, 2016. A Yunnan local bureau briefed Hunan tourists on the unique natural wonder of stone forest, the charm of Ah Shi-ma (a Yi minority girl) culture and colorful tourism products. 

The Yunnan local bureau signed a marketing agreement on stone forest traveling cooperation with many Hunan travel agencies, including Hunan BCTS Travel Service and Zhuzhou Zhonglian International Travel Service.

A Marketing Center of Stone Forest Scenic Area Administration was unveiled at the conference. 

“When Nanning-Kunming High-speed Railway and Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway open to traffic at the end of this year, it will promote the economic development along the lines. Yunnan, with stone forest as its classic scenic spot, will provide tourists with quality service as well as distinctive and impressive journey,” said Zhang Shuzhong, chief of the Yunan local bureau.
