Central China (Hunan) International Agriculture Fair 2016 Kicks off

The one-week Central China (Hunan) International Agriculture Fair 2016 (the Agriculture Fair) kicks off at the newly-built Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center on Nov. 29, 2016. More than 2500 enterprises from 31 countries and regions gather at the 5, 2000-sqm exhibition area to present their agricultural products.

　　The Central China (Hunan) International Agriculture Fair 2016 (the Agriculture Fair) kicked off at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center on the morning of Nov. 29, 2016.

　　More than 2500 enterprises will participate in the Agriculture Fair. Local specialties from five continents across the world are displayed at the event. An activity of “Online Agriculture Fair” provides convenient shopping service for consumers. At the opening ceremony, “spokesmen” of six provinces of central China presented their representative crop seeds to each other as gifts to share the joy of harvest. Five exhibition areas are established to introduce intangible cultural heritage.

　　From Nov. 29 to Dec. 3, a variety of performances themed on intangible cultural heritage items are being staged for citizens, including folk songs, puppet show, comic dialogue, Peking opera and Yueju Opera. From Nov. 29 to Dec. 5, the exhibition and sales of intangible cultural heritage handiworks are organized.
