“Two Sessions” of Hunan’s Cities and Prefecture Convene

　　14 cities and prefecture of Hunan Province have entered into the “Two Sessions” (Sessions of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress and the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee) period starting from Jan. 3 to Jan. 11, to discuss the development plan and new drive for the building of a prosperous, beautiful, and happy new Hunan.

　　The First Session of the 9th CPPCC Zhuzhou Municipal Committee kicked off on Jan. 3, 2017, opening the curtain of “Two Sessions” of all the 14 cities and prefecture of Hunan Province. “Two Sessions” of such cities and prefecture will convene from Jan. 3 to 6 and close from Jan. 7 to 11 successively, according to the official schedule.

　　Leadership re-election is a major topic of the “Two Sessions” this year, including the People’s Congress, the Government, and the CPPCC committees.14 on-site supervision groups have been sent to 14 cities and prefecture by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, to supervise and instruct the general election, whose supervision and reporting hotlines will also be announced on local media platforms.
