On Mar. 7, several female delegates from Hunan delegation are busy in exchanging ideas even during the recess. They note that in accordance with the current labor laws and regulations, women can enjoy 158 days of maternity leave while men only 15 days, which is not conducive to the implementation of the second child policy. They expect the government to introduce relevant policy to extend the male paternity leave to 30 days.
