2017 Hunan-Hong Kong Trade Fair Opens

　　The 2017 Hunan-Hong Kong Investment and Trade Promotion Week will be open in Hong Kong, Macau, and the Pearl River Delta from April 25 to 29, 2017. The main venue will be in Hong Kong. Major activities will be carried out via the “3+13+20” mode, namely, arranging 3 kinds of important events, 13 themed events related to provincial-level departments, and 20 special ones for Hunan’s cities and prefecture.

　　The three kinds of events are:

　　1. Hunan Provincial Government leaders visiting Hong Kong Government, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government (LOCPG), and important industrial and commercial enterprises;

　　2. Talkfests with Hong Kong industrial and commercial leaders to promote Hunan’s “opening up and rise”; announcing Hunan’s major investment projects for 2017, and holding strategic cooperation agreement and key projects signing ceremonies;

　　3. Hunan-Macau economic and trade exchanges. Hunan and Macau officials will meet. Hunan will hold seminars with major local investment and trading organizations, experts and celebrities, and the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) representatives, and visit enterprises to promote further cooperation.

　　Ten provincial departments will coordinate thirteen events focused on their special responsibilities.

　　Twenty special economic and trade activities for Hunan’s one prefecture and 13 cities will be held in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta.

　　A total of five hundred projects will be announced during the trade fair. Their total investment is more than two trillion yuan. They are divided into four categories: infrastructure facilities; new type industrialization; modern service industry; and, industrial parks construction. These categories have fifteen subcategories, including: traffic energy; urban construction; urban underground utility tunnels; urban sewage water treatment; and, small township new construction.
