China’s First Model Worker-themed Metro Train Debuts in Changsha

China’s first model worker-themed train began service for Changsha Metro Line 1 on May 1, the very day of International Labor Day.

　　Photo taken on May 1, 2017 shows the interior of the metro train. Decorated with images of 88 national model workers from all walks of life, the train conveys to passengers a message that work, knowledge, competent people and creation should be fully respected.

　　The theme of the metro train is “Beautiful Laborers—Rolling up sleeves and working hard to realize Chinese Dream”.

　　The publicity campaign of the special train is co-hosted by the Hunan Federation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Hunan, and is undertaken by the Changsha Civilization Office and Hunan Photographer’s Association.
