2017 Hunan-Hong Kong Annual Trade &Investment Conference Concludes

　　The 2017 Hunan-Hong Kong Annual Trade &Investment Conference was held in Hong Kong, Macao, and the Pearl River Delta region from April 25 to 29, 2017. Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe led a delegation of leaders of provincial departments, one prefecture, and 13 cities to attend the events. Hunan-Hong Kong, Hunan-Macao exchanges and collaboration were enhanced and expanded via high-level exchanges, industry matchmaking, project negotiations, and trade cooperation. Hunan also made comprehensive matchmaking with the Pearl River Delta region in advanced industry, marketing, and resources to boost its development and opening-up.

　　Fifty-seven activities were held in the major venue Hong Kong and sub-venues Macao and the Pearl River Delta region during the five-day Conference, including twenty special economic and trade activities for Hunan’s one prefecture and 13 cities.

　　The Conference concluded fruitfully. One hundred and fifty-nine provincial projects were signed this year, an increase of 64% over last year. Total investment was 255.5 billion yuan with new capital of 243.7 billion yuan, with the growth rates of 83% and 77% respectively than the previous year.
