National Fish Releasing Day Marked in Hunan

　　On the morning of June 6, 2017, the Agriculture Commission of Hunan Province and the People’s Government of Changsha City organized environmental volunteers and tourists to release 38.5 million high-quality fry into the Xiangjiang River from the Orange Isle. The day marked the third “National Fish Releasing Day” defined by the Ministry of Agriculture. In Hunan’s 62 cities and counties, 389 million fry were released into natural waters, including herring, grass carp, chub, and bighead carp.
