Hunan Strengthens Civil-military Integration Development

　　The Hunan civil-military integration development promotion conference kicks off in Changsha on June 13, 2017.

　　CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary and Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Director Du Jiahao and CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Deputy Secretary and Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe meet with participants.

　　Hunan signs agreements with relevant units.

　　The Hunan civil-military integration development promotion conference was held in Changsha on June 13, 2017. Representatives of national ministries, central military and industrial enterprises, universities, research institutes, and China Development Bank (CDB) gathered together to offer suggestions for Hunan’s economic transformation and upgrading. Before the meeting, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary and Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Director Du Jiahao met with the delegates. CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Deputy Secretary and Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe joined the discussion and later delivered a speech at the meeting.

　　The State Administration of Science, Technology, and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND) Leading Party Group Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director Zhang Kejian, All-China Federation for Industry &Commerce Leading Party Group Deputy Secretary and Vice Chairman Fan Youshan attended the discussion and made speeches at the conference. Other Hunan provincial leaders Yi Lianhong, Hu Henghua, Xie Jianhui, Huang Yuejin, and Zhang Jianfei either attended the discussion or the conference.

　　A signing ceremony was also witnessed at the meeting. Hunan and related participating units contracted 35 projects, of which 21 are industrial projects, 7 scientific research and innovation, 6 civil-military integration for “going global”, and 1 financial cooperation. The total investment was 21.1 billion  Yuan.
