China Tibet Yalong Cultural Festival Opens in Changsha

　　The opening ceremony of 2017 China Tibet Yalong Cultural Festival was recorded at the Hunan TV studio on August 13. It will be broadcasted on August 15, marking the official opening of the Festival.

　　Hunan provincial leaders Chen Xiangqun and Cai Zhenhong, and Tibet’s CPC Shannan Municipal Committee and government delegation head Ding Zhefeng were present.

　　Characteristic Tibetan dances and songs, and Hunan folk songs were staged, presenting cultural exchanges and friendship between Hunan and Tibet, and ethnic unity and progress.

　　The ceremony was hosted by the CPC Shannan Municipal Committee, Shannan Municipal People’s Government, and the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee. Hunan TV undertook the ceremony recording.

　　The 2017 China Tibet Yalong Cultural Festival includes investment and tourism promotion, Shannan photography, Thangka, and other local handicraft exhibitions, to showcase the recent and rapid development in Shannan.
