Hunan Government, MOFCOM Signs Cooperation Agreement

　　The Hunan Provincial People’s Government and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM) held a meeting in Beijing on December 17, 2017. Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe and MOFCOM Minister Zhong Shan attended the meeting and signed a province-ministry cooperation agreement on behalf of either side.

　　Hunan Vice Governor He Baoxiang, MOFCOM Assistant Minister Li Chenggang, and Hunan Government Secretary General Wang Qun attended.

　　According to the agreement, Hunan and MOFCOM will make full use of their resources, give full play to their advantages, continue to strengthen cooperation, and jointly deepen and promote collaboration mechanism for commercial undertakings development. The MOFCOM will support Hunan in such aspects as promoting pilot reform experience of free trade pilot zones, cross-border e-commerce development based on local conditions, market procurement and trade pilot, automobile parallel imports pilot, bilateral and multilateral cooperation, commerce and trade logistics standardization, service outsourcing industry, China Food and Catering Exposition, and poverty alleviation.

　　The agreement also specified the coordination mechanism between Hunan and MOFCOM. A leading group for cooperation mechanism will be established, and other related systems on regular and special meetings set up.
