Governor Xu Dazhe Highlights Role of Chambers of Commerce

　　Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe attended a symposium on project construction in Changsha on February 24, 2018. He discussed with more than 200 chairpersons of Hunan chambers of commerce and trade chambers of commerce at home and broad, to seek cooperation opportunities and common development. Xu hoped these organizations would take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide, and give full play to their role to introduce more enterprises to participate in Hunan's industrial construction and rural vitalization, and help Hunan achieve high-quality development.

　　Governor Xu said, “over the past year, Hunan chambers of commerce and trade chambers of commerce have played an important role in promoting economic and trade cooperation, encouraging enterprises transformation and upgrading, and jointly participating in implementation of major strategic projects in the province.” He continued, “at present, Hunan is thoroughly implementing the spirits of the 19th CPC National Congress and the strategy of innovation-oriented opening up and development, to accelerate the building of a beautiful, prosperous, and happy new Hunan.” “To achieve these goals, we need chambers of commerce to play their parts to broaden the business field and make new friends,” he added.
