6th China (Hunan) International Mineral &Gem Expo to Kick off in Chenzhou

　　The 6th China (Hunan) International Mineral &Gem Expo will be held in Chenzhou between May 18 and 22, 2018. On May 7, the organizing committee announced that a large number of international top mineral gemstone collections will debut at the exhibition. It includes the world’s largest single crystal and best-quality rhodochrosite “Chinese emperor” and an excellent ruby from Thailand’s JTC (Bangkok Jewelry Trade Centre). They will be displayed in the national treasure-class fine mineral gem area. In addition, the world's most complete mummified dinosaur fossil “Leonardo”, excavated in Montana, United States, has arrived in Chenzhou and will also debut at the Expo.

　　More than one thousand exhibitors have registered to attend this year. All booths have been fully booked. This includes more than 650 domestic exhibitors.

　　The Expo theme is “Magic Minerals, Rare Bournonite”. The Expo will issue e-tickets for the first time. It will collect mascot designs and related souvenirs from domestic and foreign designers and select the best. There will also be the first global minerals photography contest, an exquisite photography exhibition, and the “Mining Star” contest will also be held.
