Changsha to Host 4th Investing in Africa Forum

　　The 4th Investing in Africa Forum will be held in Changsha in the second half of this year. It is organized by the Ministry of Finance of the PRC, the People’s Government of Hunan Province, the China Development Bank, and the World Bank Group. The Hunan provincial government executive meeting announced this on June 10, 2018.

　　The forum will cover opening ceremony and keynote speeches; high-level roundtables; special forums; and, investment promotion fairs. Relevant representatives, experts, and scholars will discuss and share experiences on agriculture modernization, culture and education, new energy development, healthcare, and digital economy and innovation.

　　The forum was an important achievement made at the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation 2015. China and African countries take turns to host it annually. At present, three sessions have been successfully held in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia; Guangzhou, provincial capital of China’s Guangdong Province; and, Dakar, capital of Senegal.
