Hunan’s First Half GDP in Top 10 in All 29 Jurisdictions Reporting

　　Twenty-nine jurisdictions have reported their GDP in total and growth rates for the first half of 2018. The Top 10 GDPs were Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Henan, Sichuan, Hubei, Hebei, Hunan, and Shanghai.

　　Guizhou GDP grew by double digits. It was the only one throughout the country. It ranked first with a 10% growth rate.

　　The economic aggregates of Guangdong and Jiangsu were 4.63 trillion yuan and 4.486 trillion yuan. They ranked first and second place respectively. Shandong, Zhejiang and Henan were third, fourth, and fifth respectively.

　　Sichuan and Hubei ranked sixth and seventh with 1.833 trillion yuan and 1.796 trillion yuan respectively. Hebei followed with 1.66 trillion yuan. Hunan ranked ninth with 1.641 trillion yuan. Shanghai City was tenth with 1.556 trillion yuan.

　　GDP throughout the country grew 6.8% in the first half of 2018 compared with the same period of last year. This was 0.1 percentage points less than last year. The economic growth rate of 17 provinces met or exceeded the national average according to the economic data from 29 jurisdictions for the first half of 2018.
