Secretary Du Jiahao Leads Hunan CPC Delegation to Visit Vietnam

Du Jiahao, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary, led a CPC delegation to visit Vietnam between November 28 and December 1, 2018. He met with Nguyen Van Binh, Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) member, Central Secretariat secretary, and Central Economic Commission chairman; Nguyen Duc Chung, CPV Hanoi Municipal Committee deputy secretary and Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee chairman; and, Nguyen Thanh Phong, CPV Ho Chi Minh Municipal Committee deputy secretary and Ho Chi Minh Municipal People’s Committee chairman. 

Secretary Du said, “China is willing to work with Vietnam to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and countries; strengthen local exchanges and cooperation between the two countries; and, promote the continuous development of China-Vietnam relations.” The Vietnamese counterparts expressed that they have attached great importance to the relations with China. They were willing to further enhance communication and collaboration between the two parties and push Vietnam-China relations to a new level. 

Du also was told about the party building work of the Communist Party of Vietnam and attended activities such as the Hunan-Vietnam Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference.
