Picturesque Xiangjiang New District

　　At 6:00pm on December 18, construction was in full swing along the Meixi Lake in Changsha Xiangjiang New District. This June, Changsha Pioneering District on the West Bank of the Xiangjiang River was renamed as Xiangjiang New District. It is oriented at "One Growth Pole and Four Districts" with rapid development (one core growth pole of "being the transitional zone from the eastern coastal areas to the central and western areas as well as the junction zone of the Yangtze River Open Economic Belt and the Coastal Open Economic Belt", district of high-end manufacturing research transfer bases and innovation cluster, resource-saving and environment-friendly pioneer district with good interaction of ecological civilization and sound reaction of modern economy, new urbanization demonstration of integration of city and industry development as well as urban-rural integration, and open-economy pilot district of Yangtze River Economic Zone).
