Hunan to Add 17 Pairs of Extra Passenger Trains for Dragon Boat Festival

　　To alleviate the burden of short-distance transportation peak in Hunan during the 3-day Dragon Boat Festival since June 20, Changsha Railway Station will increase 17 pairs of extra ordinary-speed trains. The specific train number and opening date are subject to the bulletin of the station.

　　The station is expected to transport 280 thousand person times by ordinary trains from June 19 to 22, with 95 thousand on a peak day. By 18 o'clock on June 15, over 25 thousand tickets booked through the Internet for June 19, the day before the holiday, have not been taken. The railway departments reminded that as the day before the holiday is a peak for passengers' travel, the number of people getting tickets in the station will sharply increase. It is recommended that passengers take the tickets in advance in nearby railway ticket agencies and get to the railway station early.

　　According to the related regulations, the expressway is not accessible to vehicles for free during the Dragon Boat Festival. Vehicles with 7 seats or less will be charged as usual.
