Three Included in 100 National-level Memorial Sites

  In order to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of Counter-Japanese War and World Anti-Fascist War, the State Council released the second batch of 100 national-level memorial sites on counter-Japanese War on August 24, which has been approved by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. This time, Hunan's three sites are included. The number of such sites in the province thus increases to 9.

  The three sites are the Cemetery for Fallen Soldiers of 73rd Group of the National Revolutionary Army located in Yuewangting Road and Orange Isle Street, Yuelu District, Changsha City, the Cliff Inscriptions for Three Successive Victorious Battles on Dayun Mountain located in Dayun Mountain National Forest Park, Yueyang County of Yueyang City, and the Cemetery for Fallen Soldiers of the Battle of Xiangxi in the Counter-Japanese War in Gongxing (bow-shaped) Mountain, located in Zhaoshan Village, Longtan Town, Xupu County of Huaihua City.
