604 Hunan Projects Shine at 2015 CIFIT

　　The 2015 China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) kicked off in Xiamen on the morning of Sept. 8. Chen Shuhong, member of the Party leadership group of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress, visited Hunan’s booths and attended the province’s key investment project promotion conference where 604 projects worth 1,412.3 billion yuan will be introduced.

　　Focused on the “One Belt & One Zone” initiative (the transitional zone from the eastern coastal areas to the central and western areas, as well as the junction zone of the Yangtze River Open Economic Belt and the Coastal Open Economic Belt) and opening-up strategy, Hunan Pavilion showcases the image of Hunan to the outside world via various channels such as promotional videos, exhibition boards, and on-site project presentations. Hunan delegation will not only attend the main events of 2015 ICFIT, like international investment forum, but also help organize featured activities, such as meetings and dialogues between provincial leaders and Hunan key investment projects promotion conference.

　　Over 80 businessmen from Hunan are expected to attend the 2015 ICFIT to establish business relations with more than 120 business people, with half of them are from overseas. The 604 promoted projects cover a wide range of areas like infrastructure construction, new-type industry and modern service. Among them, 73 projects with a total investment of 327.3 billion yuan are highly proposed; 377 projects worth about 470.7 billion yuan are under negotiation.

　　Over 50,000 business people from more than 100 countries and regions attended the 2015 China International Fair for Investment and Trade the fair. This year's fair theme is “Belt and Road” Initiatives.
