China EXIM Bank, Hunan State-owned Assets Commission Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

  The Hunan Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China (China EXIM Bank) and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Sept. 16. The two sides will strengthen bank-government collaboration by establishing a bank-enterprise cooperation platform, to financially back up the reform of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Hunan and help them “go global”.

  According to the agreement, the China EXIM Bank Hunan Branch will rely on its policy-oriented advantages, to assist those Hunan SOEs in further reform, industrial restructuring, economic transformation, and upgrading, to financially support them to meet the demands of the “Belt and Road” initiative and tie-up with international industrial capacity cooperation. The Commission, superior in information and resources, will recommend qualified enterprises and “go global” projects to the Bank, as well as develop credit system with its counterpart.

  The Bank President Wang Yibing remarked that based on the agreement, they will expand money supply and credit to SOEs in Hunan and provide international financial services to help their reform and development.
