Four Cities of Hunan Listed among China’s Top 100 Cities of Foreign Trade

　　Recently, the General Administration of Customs has released the list of “2014 China’s Top 100 Cities of Foreign Trade”, among which Changsha, Hengyang, Loudi and Zhuzhou were listed.

　　The statistical department of the General Administration of Customs took charge of the selection and appraisal of these cities. The score of a city’s foreign trade competitiveness was calculated by taking overall account of 25 indicators in five categories of foreign trade, structure, benefit, development and potential, making the ranking rather professional and authoritative. The selection was initiated in 2008 and renews rankings every year.

　　Among the four listed cities of Hunan, Changsha ranks 65th with a comprehensive score of 69.34, the same as last year but jumping 15 places higher. Hengyang, Loudi and Zhuzhou climbed to the list for the first time, ranking 67th, 90th and 97th with scores of 68.9, 68.4 and 68.3, respectively.
