In recent years, Huayuan County of Hunan Province has implemented the programme of “One Village One Product” to develop the characteristic agricultural industry, with the kiwi, fairy fruit, snakegourd fruit planting, and Xiangxi local cattle breeding industries gradually taken shape. The above photo taken on Nov. 29 shows the villagers are picking off the fairy fruit at Douzi Village of Maoer Township of Huayuan County, whose 520-odd mu (34.667 hectares) fairy fruit is estimated to worth three million yuan.
