Xiangjiang New Area to Accomplish147 Projects in 2015

　　On the December 4th Guo Zhenggui, deputy secretary general of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government, deputy secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, and director of the Xiangjiang New Area Administration Committee said that the project construction and investment invitation to accelerate the economic development of the area should be the top priority, bringing a new upsurge to the building of the national area.

　　It has been reported that there were 147 major projects arranged with a total investment of 131.5 billion yuan this year, a year on year growth of 22.2%, including 53 industrial projects of 86.3 billion yuan. Up till now, government-invested projects have accomplished 86% of the annual target while the social ones 92%. Of which, the 26,000-sqm Meixihu (Meixi Lake) Campus of the Changsha Primary Experimental School, completed ahead of schedule, has provided sound education resources to 2,700 pupils; and the three billion yuan project of Huayi Film Town, occupying an area of 1,000 mu (66.7 hectares), only took four months to conclude a contract.

　　The Party Committee and Administration Committee of the area decided to spend one and half a months to stir up national new area construction via mass learning, themed discussion, suggestions & advice offering, and self-studying, to ensure the completion of all 147 projects.
