Yongxing E-merchants Improves Increase of Economy

It was learned from some departments of Yongxing county that the county took best advantages of “internet+” to improve new engine for increase of economy. Till now, more than 3800 online stores and Wechat stores of local characteristic products as Yongxing sweet orange, silver products, Dabujiang quilting, and etc. are available there. It was estimated that the total sales volume for online marketing can be over one billion yuan.

“All my sweet orange and Sihuang chickens are organic products. It is not cost-effective to sell all wholesale price, but we are not capable to find the marketing channel either. Now, thanks for the cooperation with internet companies, the fruits have been booked out by the national wide consumers via ecommerce platform before its full maturity. The price for all products is higher than before but their supply still falls short of demand. ” Cao Pengfei, one of the planters of sweet orange of Bianjiang town, said gladly to the reporters on the good effects of “internet+”.

Focusing on the principal line of “increasing people’s income by entrepreneurship, improving counties’ development by innovation”, Yongxing county issued series comments on further promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship and some temporary solutions on supporting the undergraduates’ innovation and entrepreneurship in the incubator base. Meanwhile, Yongxing Finance designated 10million yuan from special funds of employment subsidized by central and Hunan provincial government and 5million yuan from county level budget to establish supporting funds of promoting employment with innovation and entrepreneurship. All the enterprises and entrepreneurs well met the conditions are capable to get one-time subsidies of entrepreneurship and more favorable conditions on rent, water and electricity supply, social insurance, and etc.

Huachuang E-commerce Industrial Park is the newly constructed entrepreneurship incubator base. More than 10 training courses on entrepreneurship, information, products display, decoration of online stores, warehousing, and other topics were held in the park. Over 2000 people received the training there. Till now, more than 20 ecommerce enterprises and 100 ecommerce entrepreneurs were settled down there.

Concerned for the marketing of agricultural products, Yongxing county played the best advantages of “internet+” to expand the markets, extend industrial chain and upgrade the effects of brands. Yitianxia Ecological Agricultural Company which was established in 2014 aimed at Yongxing sweet orange and collected 210,000yuan funds by equity crowdfunding. The total sales volume was amounted to 1.96million yuan at that first year, and was estimated to be 10million yuan in 2015. The online shops were up to 152 ones from 50 of 2014, up 200%. The rate of online shopping increased from 5% to 10% and the unit price increased from 3.6-5.0/kg to 6.0-9.0/kg, both of which helped the farmers to get 40% more income.

Silver products and quilting were favored by the ecommerce as well. Assisted with Aliexpress, Dunhuang net and some other cross-border ecommerce platforms, Lianhe Guoyin worked together with Yongxing Post to export the silver products abroad as Southeast Asia, Europe, and USA. DY Silver, Xinda Silver, Zhaoyang Silver and some other enterprises promoted the interactive marketing online and offline, which helped to increase the sales over 50%. The total on-line sales volume of silver products was over 300million yuan.
