Chenglingji Comprehensive Bonded Zone Project

After field inspection and comprehensive assessment, the first phase construction of Yueyang Chenglingji Comprehensive Bonded Zone project passed the acceptance check on Dec. 22. Headed by the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, the joint inspection team consisted of the National Development and Reform Commission,?the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Land and Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Taxation, the State Administration for Industry & Commerce, the General Administration Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

Vice Governor of Hunan Province He Baoxiang, Team Leader of the Joint Acceptance Team Li Zhihui and Yueyang municipal leaders including Sheng Ronghua, Liu Hesheng, Li Zhijian, Fan Jinjun and Song Aihua attended the certificate-conferring ceremony.

“Chenglingji Comprehensive Bonded Zone has officially passed the acceptance check by the national 10 ministries, which is a great event for Yueyang to further expand opening up and promote export-oriented economy”, said Sheng Ronghua, secretary of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee.

On behalf of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government, Vice Governor He extended congratulations on the event. He noted that Yueyang, as a new “growth pole” of Hunan’s development endowed with transportation, location and policy advantages, should accurately find its position, thoroughly carry out the construction and investment promotion of Chenglingji Comprehensive Bonded Zone, speed up attracting enterprises to settle down and further expand functions of the zone, so as to make it a collecting and distributing center for import and export commodities as well as a clustering area for emerging industries.
