Picturesque Lianhua Town in Spring

　　Lianhua Town in Yuelu District, Changsha, was formerly a barren land resulted from mining.

　　Huge changes have taken place over the past decade since green development pattern was raised here. Polluting factories and mines were shut down; large scaled industrial development was prohibited; large livestock farms were restricted; deforestation was banned; and pesticides and fertilizers were controlled.

　　Today, the ecological agriculture-oriented Lianhua Town has become a world of flower, offering people a good place for sightseeing and recreation.
