Media’s “China Trans-Century Environmental Protection Inspection Campaign” Launched in Hunan

A journalist delegation of "China Trans-Century Environmental Protection Inspection Campaign" arrived in Hunan on May 15, 2016. They came here to conduct interviews centering on the topics of "energy conversation, environmental protection, and green development" from May 16 to 20.

The journalists are from 15 central media, including Xinhua News Agency, Economic Daily, China National Radio (CNR), and China Central Television (CCTV). They will make on-site interviews in Changsha, Xiangtan, Zhuzhou, Yiyang, and subordinate counties and regions, to report Hunan's implementation of green industry, green economy, and green urbanization development, and Hunan's experience on "Two-oriented Society" construction. Yanghu Water Recycling Plant, Zhubugang "suppressing secondary industry and develop tertiary industry" project, Qingshuitang's green transformation, and water environment comprehensive treatment in Dongting Lake area are on the interview scheme.

The China Trans-Century Environmental Protection Inspection Campaign was initiated in 1993. The theme of this year is "Vigorously Promoting Ecological Progress and Striving to Build a Beautiful Country".
