The 33rd “Senior Course on China’s Economy for Young Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs” was held at Hunan University from May 20 to 23, 2016. 46 trainees including heads of famous overseas industrial and commercial associations, children of overseas Chinese businessmen, and young- and middle-aged entrepreneurs gathered in Changsha to study China’s economy.

Director of the Association of Hunan Fellow Townsmen and the Hunan General Chamber of Commerce in German Li Xianqiu has been engaged in traditional catering industry in German for over ten years and now meets some bottlenecks. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hunan Sub-council and the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Offices of the People’s Government of Hunan Province actively acted as a go-between for him, and advised him to set up German Pavilion in Jinxia Free Trade Zone to offer affordable commodities of good quality from Germany for Hunan customers.

Executive Vice Chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Sino-Australian Trade and Commerce Teng Teng believed that industries related to the “Belt and Road” Initiative would obtain profound growing potentials in the future.

President of the Hunan General Chamber of Commerce in European Union (EU-HN) Tang Yong remarked that the “Belt and Road” Initiative provided convenient two-way channel for enterprises to go global or bring in. It not only helped China’s small- and middle-sized enterprises to seek fortune at international market, but also introduced well-developed overseas Chinese enterprises and entrepreneurs to China, who will bring their advanced resources and techniques to cooperate with China’s enterprises and realize win-win results.
