Shield Tunneling Machine Launched for Changsha University Station

Workers were erecting shield segments for Metro Line 3 on July 3, 2016. The Xiangjiang-2 shield machine started drilling ground at the left line of Changsha University Station, Changsha Metro Line 3 Phase Ⅰ, marking the official tunneling construction between Changsha University Station and Yaquehu Station section. The 1.64 km long line is scheduled to finish shield tunnel excavating this October.
