Hunan in New Moves to Boost Real Economy

　　CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary and Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee Director Du Jiahao met in Changsha with Zheng Yonggang, chairman of the Board of Shanshan Corporation on Feb. 2, 2018. They exchanged ideas on promoting real economy and enhancing pragmatic cooperation.

　　Chairman Zheng’s visit to Hunan this time is to engage in construction mobilization for the 100,000-ton lithium battery power materials base project.

　　CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and Secretary General Xie Jianhui also attended.

　　Secretary Du said, “The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee decided to arrange and launch the ‘Year of Industrial Project Construction Promotion’ this year. Efforts will be made to seek, promote, and thrive industries; accelerate the building of a modern economic system, and constantly consolidate the foundation of high-quality development.” He expected that both sides would give full play to their respective advantages and further deepen cooperation in such fields as new materials, new energy, and garment making, to promote real economy. “Hunan will unswervingly encourage, support, and guide the development of non-public economy, speed up new type government-enterprise relationship construction, and provide sound environment for more large enterprises including Shanshan Corporation to invest and settle down in Hunan.” He added.

　　President Zheng remarked that Hunan has boasted profound regional advantages and efficient governmental services in recent years. He noted, “The power battery industrial chain has kept improving. It has greatly encouraged us to invest in Hunan and also brought us great opportunities.” Zheng continued, “We will promote mutual collaboration, endeavor to boost real economy, and contribute more to Hunan’s prosperity.”
