The lobster-like flower (Impatiens spp.), a rare plant, has been grown for eons and is named after its resemblance to the lobster. The flower has multiple colors (yellow, red, purple, white, etc.) and sizes (like shrimps, prawns, lobsters, etc.).
The lobster-like flower, widely distributed in Hunan-Guangxi mountains and Wulingyuan area of Hunan province, likes growing in a warm and moist environment at an altitude of 500-1,200 meters. Its flower season spans from summer to autumn.
