Changsha to Construct 12 Subways in Total

Changsha plans to build 12 subways with a total length of 456 kilometers. These subways will connect Changsha’s downtown area and suburb towns, New Xiangjiang District and export-oriented economic zone near ports, airport and railways. Owing to the planned subways, logistics, labour and capital will be able to contribute even more to the economic boom.

Changsha subways and intercity railways of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster link Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Rail, Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Rail, Chongqing-Xiamen High-speed Rail, Huanghua International Airport and Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, making Changsha a national transport hub across the country.
