Hunan’s Foreign Trade Growth Speed Fastest in Central China

From January to July of 2014, the total import and export volume of Hunan Province reached 95.72 billion yuan, an increase of 20.2% compared with last year. The growth speed is the fastest in central China and seventh in whole China, 20 percentage points higher than the national average growth speed.
 
Hunan’s import and export volume reaches 16.95 billion yuan in July, increasing 28.1%. Its related volume from January to July jumped to the top among the six provinces of central China, among which export covers over 58.88 billion yuan and import over 36.83 billion yuan. Its foreign trade surplus increased to 22.05 billion yuan, expanding 46.2 percent. Hunan’s foreign trade volume takes up 12% of the total imports and exports in central China.
