First Dongting Lake Bird Photographer Holds Photo Exhibition in Changsha

　　At the photo exhibition, bird photographer Li Jianzhi (R) explains to a visitor nature of different birds inhabiting on the Dongting Lake. He records his stories of protection of the birds of each photo.

　　On October 14, Hunan's well-known environmentalist and bird photographer Li Jianzhi held a photo exhibition themed "caring, knowing and protecting birds" at library of Central South University of Forestry and Technology. The 50-year-old photographer grew up at the Dongting Lake. He became interested in birds photography 15 years ago and became the first Dongting Lake Bird Photographer. In these 15 years, he hid himself behind ditches, ports and reeds of the lake and photographed more than 270 varieties of birds including precious and endangered birds under state-level protection. He has held more than 150 such exhibitions across the country.
