Xu and Du meet delegations from Shannan of Tibet

Xu said, “ Hunan has supported Shannan for 20 years, and Hunan provincial government seriously keeps doing the supporting work as Hunan’s own work, by implementing the central policies and arrangements. Those works have been focusing on "laying the foundation, supporting industries, benefit people’s livelihood.” He said that the counterpart supporting work had done in depth, which greatly enhanced the Hunan-Tibetan friendship, personnel exchanges and economic cooperation. This 20 years are the years of deepen cooperation between Hunan and Tibet, in the result, it achieve mutual benefits and common development for the long term.

"It is a great honour to see the accelerated economic developments, improving people’s livelihood,  social harmony and stability for Shannan!", said Xu Shousheng. He said that Hunan will resolutely implement the central government’s strategy , and Hunan will always strengthen counterpart support in aiding work with affection and responsibility. Hunan will constantly improve the long-term cooperations to support  Shannan’s developments in employment, science, medical, industrial, cultural, and human resources, with long-term stability.

Zhang Yongze,  deputy secretary of Shannan and administrative commissioner,  introduced the economic and social developments of Shannan in recent years. Zhang thanked Hunan’s support for enormous changes, and he hoped that Hunan’s further supports in investment, education and other fields.
