Du: to foster new area for growth with precise strategy

Rednet (Changsha): January 4 was the first working day of the New Year. Du Jiahao, Deputy Secretary of the provincial party Committee and Governor of Hunan Province, came to enterprises, factories and workshops in the economic development zone of Changsha City to investigate the production and management of the projects in construction . He stressed that to meet the new requirements of economic developments, government should actively work on strategies to keep up with national developments, to give full play of  " zone sand areas for advanced development” with precise strategy, to make effort on accurate aims in order to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional economy, to foster new industries, to accelerate the innovation, to attract capital and to foster new area for economic growth.

 

Yi Lianghong,　Party Secretary of Changsha CPC and member of provincial party Committee, attended the investigation along with Huang Lanxiang, Vice-Governor of Hunan province.

 

Governor Du concerned the practical problems of the enterprises construction of sapphire crystal project of Lens Technology in Langli Base. The manager of Lens Technology introduced Governor Du about its business on the project of sapphire crystal furnaces. He said that the company had independent research and development of sapphire crystal growth furnaces, and a number of technical indicators already exceed similar foreign products. Du Jiahao approved its innovation-driven development and competity, and he asked provincial authorities to set up a working group on one-to-one support for each aspect of business including manufacture land, labour, electricity, finance, infrastructure and so on, in order to help enterprises solve developing problems and to accelerate market expansion and greater developments.

 

Du then came to Shanghai Volkswagen co. in Changsha, and he learned more about project progress, supporting industries, etc. Du pointed out that the key for transformation of tradition industries is to have surrounding industries, to extend the industrial chain and to develop related industries in order to strive to cultivate new economic growth.
