Improve Hunan People’s Lives in 2014

 66% of the public finance expenditure was used to improve people’s lives, topping 331.48 billion yuan.
 
The minimum living allowances was up-regulated from the average level to a minimum guaranteed level, 165 and 330 yuan per capita respectively for rural and urban residents every month.
 
Social insurance valuing 97.14 billion yuan has been dispensed, up 9.8%.
 
26 items of 15 projects for people’s benefits were fulfilled.
 
The tasks of urban-rural affordable housing project (public rental housing, rural dangerous housing, urban shantytowns, and industrial and mining shantytowns) have been over fulfilled.
 
Targeted measures have been taken in poverty alleviation.
